Our Boy

Thank you Patricia Moore of DesireUnique Cattery for sharing and entrusting us with our first show quality kitten.  You were correct when you described him as a beautiful loving boy.  He brings us a lot of joy everyday.

Cyrus has matured into a wonderful seal point and my amateur attempt at photographing him does not do him justice.  The photograph above makes him look horribly long when actually he is a perfect cobby body type.  His masking has been admired by many with its full, dark and even coloration. If the “wish fairy” were available, my three wishes would be smaller ears, slightly larger eyes, and a slightly higher positioned nose.

We will be taking Cyrus to more shows in an attempt to earn his Grand Champion title once we get his coat to the condition that will overpower his slight flaws.

Thank you to our wonderful friends Lori and Wade Sanders of Catmandu Cats, who we met at our first show in Huntsville and who professionally agented Cyrus at the Knoxville show for his Winners ribbons.  They also provide hints of wisdom each time we talk.
