Don Scandal Passion the Lightning “Rio” earned her Champion title at the Southern Illinois Feline Fanciers Show held in Marion, Illinois on July 12-13, 2008.

From Left to right starting on the top row are Judges Norman Auspitz, Paul Patton, Liz Watson, Sharon McKeehen Bounds, and Beverly Wood.  Also judging was Mary Auth, but I was listening to her describe the breed to the audience and forgot to take a picture.

We are going to take a little time trying to get some weight back on Rio and give her a chance to improve her color before attempting to collect points for a Grand Champion title.  She is a great cat but started going through heat cycles a little early and the summer season has caused some coat loss.  But watch out this Fall when this little girl hits the circuit again.
